By downloading or using Solace Weather, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Section 1Use of the App

Solace Weather is provided for personal, non-commercial use. By using the app, you agree not to:

• Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt Solace's backend services (downpour-api).
• Scrape, automate, or programmatically access our weather API endpoints without authorization.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of the app or its infrastructure.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.

Section 2Backend Services

Our weather backend is provided as a service to Solace Weather users. Access is rate-limited and intended for human, in-app use only. We reserve the right to throttle, block, or permanently terminate access for any user or device that abuses these resources, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

Section 3Weather Data & Forecasts

Weather forecasts provided by Solace Weather are sourced from third-party providers and are offered for informational purposes only. Do not rely solely on Solace Weather for safety-critical decisions. Always verify conditions through official channels (National Weather Service, local emergency management, etc.) when safety is a concern.

Section 4Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within Solace Weather — including the app name, logo, and UI — are the property of Solace Weather and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Section 5Disclaimer of Warranties

Solace Weather is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about uptime, forecast accuracy, data completeness, or uninterrupted service. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

Section 6Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solace Weather and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

Section 7Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We'll note the revision date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Section 8Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate access to our backend services for users who violate these terms, without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
